Following a long development period, Cabin Announcement Pro has received a commitment from SoFly to release in 2026. During FlightSimExpo 2026, we announced a substantial development update on the upcoming tool for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024 on both PC and console.
Both manual mode and automatic mode will be available to hear cabin and pilot announcements during any flight in the sim. In automatic mode, simmers will be able to import their SimBrief flight plan and have the tool automatically play cabin and pilot announcements in the right situation and order.
Using dynamic data, Cabin Announcement Pro will also incorporate announcements relating to the time of day and the use of the fasten seat belt sign. More dynamic situations will be revealed in due course in future development updates.
The tool will also be ready for a global environment. When using automatic mode, we will detect the airline and assign an accent based on the airline. A number of variations for both cabin and pilots are included, so every flight feels fresh and unique. Ad hoc announcements will also be part of the tool, including PAs for celebrations and abnormal procedures such as go-arounds.
The new application will come with a custom in-sim panel, which will give users the empowerment to control each announcement. Examples shown off during FlightSimExpo 2026 include the ability to play/stop announcements and also toggle on/off boarding music and associated volume.
SoFly also reminded the community that Cabin Announcement Pro will not be a subscription-based product, and reconfirmed a 2026 release.
More details will follow in the future.
