We are pleased to announce our brand new Airport Product Transfer (APT) programme for all current and future SoFly customers.
The APT programme is designed to allow flight sim customers to experience SoFly airport products at reduced rates if they own an airport from another developer that is the same as ours. So, for example, if you own UK2000 Scenery's Cardiff Airport (EGFF), then you can fill out a simple form to transfer to the SoFly version with a significant discount applied.
We recognise that flight simulation as a hobby is getting increasingly competitive with many developers' products multiples versions of the same airport and the decision to pick up another version is often down to the additional cost. This is why we feel the APT programme is the perfect way of supporting us as a small business, but also enabling customers to upgrade their version in a consumer-friendly manner.
As of today, the following products can be transferred to the applicable SoFly version:
- UK2000 Scenery - EGFF Cardiff Airport
- Simulación Extrema - SCIP Mataveri Airport
Right now, we are offering up to 40% off for customers who transfer their licenses from those products to our own renditions.
Update May 1st: Orbx Ohrid has been removed due to the company raising a dispute with SoFly.
How does it work?
We have made it as easy as possible. Complete the online transfer form (here), upload your evidence of purchase, and then await approval from one of our team. Once approved, you will get an email and your SoFly Store account will automatically apply the discount when you checkout. You will know for sure as you will see this on the applicable product page.
Then, when you get to the checkout page, your discount will be applied (example screenshot, prices will vary).
Plus, a bonus surprise will land in your inbox a few days afterwards as our way of saying thanks.
Please note that this offer is only valid when you purchase the SoFly version directly through our store, but you can transfer your old product from any store (e.g. SIMMARKET, Aerosoft, etc).
Future Airport Products
Hannover is our next major airport product. We are evaluating the possibility of including it in our Airport Product Transfer programme and will update you accordingly.
