Earlier this month, SoFly confirmed that AeroTone would be launching before the end of the year. We are confirming today that AeroTone will release on December 17th 2025. AeroTone has been on a long development journey and we’re delighted with how this ambitious project can now transform your audio experience on every flight you do.
AeroTone will transform each flight and aircraft in your flight simulator hangar by adding authentic, high-quality audio that adds a new layer of immersion. We have collaborated with Echo19 to create this rich soundscape across your entire fleet. Our beautiful in-sim panel gives you full control over each sound effect.
To help get you started, we have curated over 120 official profiles by default, meaning you can install and fly and immediately hear the difference. If your favourite plane doesn’t already have an official profile, AeroTone still works and you can quickly then save your very own custom profile, which you can then share with the community for them to download in the future.
Your in-sim skies will never feel lonely again as we have included over 100 hours of ATC audio files that cover the entire globe. As you fly, expect to hear different regions and accents.
All of this comes together to create a rich soundscape that will enhance each flight.

AeroTone for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 launches on December 17th 2025. Coming to consoles soon after via the in-sim Marketplace.
