Version 1.40 includes details from the recent Game of the Year update, along with information on the newly added aircraft, airports, and photogrammetry cities.

You can get the update now from your accounts free of charge if you own A Guide to Flight Simulator: Extended Edition. Other stores should be updating their servers soon.
If you don’t own the guide, you can buy it now for just £19.99 (plus VAT). You will get 448-pages of unbeatable content and continued free updates into 2022. Don’t forget, you can also use the new in-sim toolbar to read the guide.

A Guide to Flight Simulator: Extended Edition will soon no longer be available at an upgrade price for previous owners. As of 3rd January 2022, we will not be offering the upgrade price and all purchases will be made at full price.
