Following on from its well-regarded Cardiff and Ohrid Airports, SoFly is excited to announce its latest entry in its airport line-up: Hannover Airport.
Hannover Airport (EDDV) is a major international hub in Lower Saxony, Germany, offering a seamless travel experience for passengers and acts as a crucial cargo gateway for Europe. Strategically located just 11 km north of Hannover, this airport is designed to handle both domestic and international traffic across three terminals and two parallel runways.
SoFly is stepping up the detail with Hannover to completely new heights with the latest in scenery technology, providing ground-breaking new functionality for airports in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Expect the same high-quality modelling and texturing you have come to expect, as well as our Interactive Scenery Technology. Animated airport doors, moving buses (complete with animated timetable), moving escalators, and dynamic snow build-up are just a few of the anticipated features for Hannover Airport. SoFly is hard at work on some truly next-level scenery functionality, which will be revealed ahead of its Spring 2025 release.
“Hannover Airport is a hugely important airport within Europe and deserves to receive the best treatment,” Calum CEO of SoFly said. “We are taking all the learnings from our past airports and bringing them to a much grander scale than ever before. I am excited by the new technologies we’re including, as it is stuff never-before-seen in any airport product before.”
Hannover Airport has been lovingly created by SkyHigh Studios for SoFly. The airport product is due to be released this Spring for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
More news will follow soon.
