Back in June 2023, SoFly announced and premiered a new global product that will add many new animals and fauna to the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator. Today, we are pleased to announce that Animals for MSFS will be released on September 26th 2023.
Your world is about to feel a lot more alive thanks to over 5,000 newly placed animals across the world in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Watch lions roam the African plains, witness crocodiles intimidate in swamps, and be in awe of the variety of whales that dominate the seas.
Every animal included has been created with high-quality, performance-friendly 3D modelling enriched with PBR and detailed texturing. Experience authentic sounds from each creature as you fly past, and enjoy a different experience each time with the randomly generated audio effects.
5 new missions will also be added to your simulator, giving you the chance to get up close and personal with each creature and learn amazing new facts about each. Otherwise, be an explorer and locate each animal in free flight across the globe. There is no need to purchase additional region packs with Animals for MSFS.
Designed to work with some of your favourite campsites and local airports, including Parallel 42’s ‘Scene’ products. Immerse yourself fully into these rich environments with even more detail thanks to Animals for MSFS.
Just like the animal kingdom, you will be able to watch Animals for MSFS evolve over time with new animals, additional missions and community-driven events giving you plenty of reasons to explore the world in search of each animal.
Animals for MSFS is a world-changing product designed to bring more authenticity and life to your flights. It’s perfect for exploring solo or with friends. Be sure to take snaps of your wildlife experience, whether you spot pigs in farms or gorillas in the jungle – each of your flights will hopefully see you stumble upon a new inhabitant in this wonderful world.
Animals for MSFS will be available for PC versions of the simulator on September 26th 2023 through the SoFly store and Orbx. It will be coming to PC and Xbox via the in-sim Marketplace at a later date. Stay tuned for more details.
