Last week, we released our latest product, EcoSoundScapes for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The feedback from the community has been overwhelming and we cannot thank you enough for your input.
Since launching to the masses, we have received plenty of feedback on what fans loved and would love to see improved in the future. There are a few quality of life improvements we are going to make, but we wanted to address a bug that has arisen since releasing it to the public.
We are aware of a few edge-case scenarios where sounds either from our sound engine or your aircraft will not play. We discovered that in certain situations where there a lot of objects on display, or when aircraft have complex sound environments (especially during start-up), the simulator will cancel some sound effects. This is a limitation of the simulator, but of course, we want our product to go hand-in-hand with everything else.
We wanted to advise you that we are working on a hotfix to address these issues as quickly as we can. There is also a longer term plan to ensure that sounds are played globally and will also ensure that this bug won't be present in any scenario.
We want to thank everyone who has raised this with us, and also to reassure everyone else that we are aware and working on a fix.
Please do continue to send us support tickets, along with screenshots and pictures to help us easily identify issues so we can resolve them moving forward.
